This statement explains how Elio AS processes personal data when you visit elio.no or contact us.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. Analytics is loaded only if you accept it in the consent banner. Without consent, no data is sent to Google.

Once you accept, the cookies _ga and _ga_* are set and stored for up to 2 years. Google Ireland Ltd. acts as data processor, and data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The statistics are not used for advertising and are not linked to individuals. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

Your choice is stored locally

Your choice in the consent banner is stored in your browser (localStorage, key elio-consent) so we do not ask again. It is not sent to us.

If you email or call us, we use the information you provide to reply and follow up on your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or contract where the enquiry concerns an assignment.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Content is delivered from Microsoft's global network and stored in Microsoft's data centre in the USA (East US 2). Technical data such as IP address and browser are recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting. Microsoft acts as data processor, and the transfer to the USA is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at post@elio.no. You can also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
