This integration, which is now running on the IoT Lab at the Norwegian Maritime Competence Center (NMK), is the result of a collaboration between Elio As and Invig AS. The data from the sensors flows to Ignition using Webhooks and MQTT. This means that we can take advantage of IoT technology and collect data from a wider range of devices and sensors, as well as data from machines and controllers from the OT world. This gives us a more comprehensive overview of systems and processes.
We’re really looking forward to exploring the myriad ways Ignition can improve our ability to collect, analyze and use data from different sensors. This exciting development will strengthen our ability to make informed decisions and optimize our operations. It’s an exciting time for IoT and automation!
